 Two new mics to start off the year. AKG C414B XLII (left) and a very impressive mic by Rupert Neve - the sE Electronics RN17. Just recorded some acoustic guitar in a shootout of 4 high-end microphones and the RN17 was the obvious winner. It has the most stunning high frequency detail of any mic I've heard to date.
